Continental Express is proud to announce their 2022 Drivers of the Year.
The Driver of the Year award is an effort to recognize company drivers who have gone above and beyond their position’s requirements to best serve Continental’s customers and the overall fleet. Each Driver of the Year is committed to CE’s core values of safety, service, and communication.
2022 is the third consecutive year Continental named and awarded top drivers in five categories, including OTR, dedicated, local, most improved, and “rookie”. Alongside our million safe mile drivers, Driver of the Year is the top recognition for a CE driver.
The selection process for each category begins with operations staff nominating drivers whom they consider deserving of the award. After nominations are collected, data is collected on each nominee, including their recent safety record and miles ran in the previous year. That data guides the decision-making process.

2022 Local Driver of the Year: Jimmy Perkins (Fort Worth Terminal)
2022 Local Driver of the Year: Brian Noftsger (Sidney Terminal)
2022 Most Improved Driver of the Year: Maurice Coleman (Columbus Terminal)
2022 “Rookie” Driver of the Year: Kim Bailie (Fishersville Terminal)
2022 “Rookie” Driver of the Year: Niy Ridle (Indianapolis Terminal)
