How long do you have to be with the company to let husband/wife travel with you?
We ask for drivers to be with the company for 30 days before taking a rider along.
Hi there. I have a misdemeanor from a year ago for theft. Would i still be able to join continental express ? I’m currently trying to get it expunged in the future. Thanks
Please give our recruiting team a call at 800-497-2100! We would be happy to discuss your situation with you.
Hi there! Would would be starting pay for drivers straight out of the academy in Indianapolis since they’re going to be OTR?
Great question! During training you would be paid a straight amount each week. After about eight weeks of training, you would start at $0.45 cents per mile and work your way up to $0.59 cents per mile by the end of your first year with us.
Do you guys hire any felons or people with misdemeanor? Also if i graduate from your CDL A school, can i choose to be local instead of OTR?
The graduates of Continental Express Commercial Driving Academy are contracted to running home weekly OTR upon completing school and training. Regarding felonies or misdemeanors, we would be happy to discuss your situation with you. Please give us a call at 800-497-2100.
Do you all offer automatic restriction for driver training? I have a disability that doesnt allow me to push in a clutch, but would be able to do pretty much anything else.
Our fleet is a mix of automatic and manual transmission trucks. In our CDL school and our training, we will teach you to drive with both transmissions.
So if I have a disability would you all be able to accommodate me to obtain an automatic restriction? Or is it a requirement to be able to drive both?
I would like to come back on as a driver if possible, thanks, Kevin A. Lutz
Hi Kevin, please give our recruiting team a call at 800-497-2100 to discuss your eligibility!
